INFORMATION FOR AGENTS
CG eHIVE is an agent for overseas tour operators, who send students and other groups for UK tours and educational classes. We are currently accepting student’s tours from France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Poland throughout the year.
All host families are personally interviewed by us before we work with them. We inform them of their obligations. We also inspect their houses to ensure that they meet the legal requirements set. ‘We have a large selection of families from across the spectrum that have considerable experience of hosting students.
Our host families can accommodate single gender groups sharing rooms of 2, 3, and 4. Where necessary, we can accommodate family members i.e. brother / sister or parent / child.
Full Board Service includes the following:
Half Board Service includes the following:
We can arrange and organize airport transfers, left luggage facilities, and, where required, Oyster cards. We can also arrange for specific or special dietary requirements. We welcome students with special needs and disabilities.
Depending on your requirements, we offer accommodation ranging from good quality to high quality. Our host families provide students the opportunity to live with a typical UK family, improve their English, and expand their cultural knowledge.
We have identified several families ideally suited to host teachers, group leaders, and drivers. If required, we can also arrange accommodation for group leaders in local Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs).
Host our students and supplement your existing income:
Hosting overseas students requires commitment. The host family must have a caring nature and possess a friendly and caring attitude. International students are looking to interact with a local family where they can improve their language skills and be immersed in the local culture.
If you have a spare room, then this is an opportunity to make your spare room generate weekly income. Majority of our groups come for 3-4 nights. Other groups can be for longer periods. Most groups come on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Some groups stay during the weekends.
CG eHive’s mission is to look out for the welfare of the students and guests. We require our host families to deliver the following:
A host family will offer the students a ‘full board’ or ‘half board’ service.
Full Board Service includes the following:
Half Board Service includes the following:
Host families are permitted to host between 2 to 4 students. Host families must never host students of the same nationality from other Homestay agencies.
Students are not permitted to be left alone. They must always be under the supervision of the host family or teachers/team leader.
The host family will have to drop the students at the meeting point at 07:45 for each morning of the stay. The students along with their group will be scheduled to leave the meeting point at 08:00 for their prearranged visits and activities. It is therefore important that host families are on time. The groups will come back to the meeting point in the evening around 19:00. The students will be collected and taken home by the host families.
The host family will be advised in advance before the group arrives of any allergies, dietary or special requirements that their guests have. The host family will offer their guests a single, double or triple room. All beds must be fitted with mattress protectors.
Any damage to host family property or contents by the students must be reported to CG eHive before the students depart to their country of origin.
